The ¼ inch Soaker Tubing with its porous nature gently seeps water out along the entire length, ensuring complete root zone hydration for your plants. This flexible tubing is easy to install - simply attach it to a larger supply line using a ¼ inch fitting or Clamp N Pierce® connector, and place it in the area to be irrigated. Ideal for short runs on flat surfaces like vegetable gardens and borders, the soaker tube also works great as a watering ring around small plants.

The non-pressure compensating nature of the soaker tubing means that water flow will vary based on the length of the tubing or the landscape elevation, with higher flows closer to the water source. Made from recycled rubber treated with UV inhibitors, the tubing is durable and designed to last. Drip irrigation systems, of which the soaker tubing is a key component, are easy to customize, install, and operate. As part of a complete system, the soaker tubing evenly distributes water to the root zone of your plants, maintaining the ideal balance between water and air for optimal growth and overall plant health.

The soaker tubing has an outside diameter (OD) of 0.250 inches and an internal diameter (ID) of 0.170 inches, allowing it to connect to a ½ inch, 5/8 inch, or 0.710 inch supply line using a ¼ inch micro fitting like a barbed connector or Clamp N Pierce Connector. The flexible nature of the tubing enables it to bend and accommodate curved irrigation areas as well as straight runs. The porous, non-pressure compensating material allows the water to gently seep out along the entire length of the tubing, keeping the soil moist. The tubing can be cut to the desired length, and periodic checks for leaks or damage are recommended. In cold climates, the soaker tubing can be left in place or covered in soil or mulch, as excess water will gradually seep out without the need for winterization.
